Life can be challenging and the challenge is to connect and create solutions

Andrew Dauler,
LGMFT

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and independent contractor. I believe that our close relationships are among the most challenging and rewarding aspects of our lives. While stress and turmoil in our relationships can be emotionally and physically exhausting, supportive and satisfying relationships can provide us with strength to thrive. As a marriage and family therapist, I work with clients to strengthen and repair the relationships that are most important to them. I help couples and families find helpful ways to communicate their experience so that they can connect with each other and feel truly understood. I help clients to recognize and nurture each other’s emotional needs so that the family can grow together. With time, my clients learn to trust and enjoy each other again. I am a level 1 Gottman couple's therapist and I specialize in working with adolescents. Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland at College Park. He is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) and an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He serves as a board member for the mid-Atlantic division of AAMFT. Andrew is an independent contractor
