If you are a first responder, had a relationship breakup or a even car accident, you have experienced trauma. It can invide and impact your life, emotions and relationships. Even if you experienced trauma as a child, trauma can still have an impact as it is stored on the body and activiated even when there may be no percieved threat. You might find yourself being unable to trust others, engaging in relationship addiction, having nightmares, dreading going to work or avoiding social occassions. We join with individuals to teach coping techniques, guided imagery, mindfulness, and learn ways to turn down the volume and heal past traumas. You can open new doors to discover personal strengths, build support, defeat fear and embrace moving forward...not just surviving, but thriving.
Losing a loved one is one of the most painful events that humans experience. Grief is a normal process that may require support for grief to heal. Sometimes grief can become complicated when we are not able to move through the process of grief due to emotional barriers. Givng space for grief to be processed can allow you to understand conflicted feelings or parts of yourself that need to be soothed to live your life after loss.
